Marc barnhill

Marc Barnhill is a school founder and antiracism worker who teaches writing, critical thinking, and African American literature. He has led New York Cares volunteer teams, run children’s art and literacy projects in Harlem, trained Kingsborough student volunteers in culturally conscious peer tutoring practices, arranged and supervised School for the Physical City internships focused on economic and social justice, taught academic readiness skills to young children in the College For Kids program, designed and taught online courses for both the Writing and Critical Thinking programs of NYU's Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies, worked with the International Student Support Center, founded Bronx Guild High School in collaboration with Outward Bound, served as Faculty Advisor to the BCC Secular Humanist Club, and facilitated workshops and events with many educational and social-justice organizations.
